I had a spacious, comfortable room and enjoyed using the pool facilities. Dinner in the restaurant was first class - absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. I went for the Continental breakfast which I enjoyed but I had a quick look at the hot buffet where only one type of egg (fried) was available and the baked beans looked congealed. Altogether, a very enjoyable stay.

Really lovely hotel, took advantage of the leisure facilities which were equally impressive - quiet & clean room and beautifully dark, so a great nights sleep !! Will be returning.

Visited LPGA at Birkdale Golf Club and decided to stay at Wrightington Hotel Moss Lane which turned out to be great. Close to M6 although thre is no noise from the motorway and surrounded by fields which ensure a peaceful night's sleep. Room was on ground floor and was really clean and had a plentiful supply of tea coffee and biscuits.. Restaurant was busy with parties etc and advisable to book especially at weekends The food was good value and very well presented with fairly good service from a young staff. Breakfast consisis of a buffett style but was hot and constantly replenished choice of toasts and service was really good and quick as soon as one entered the restaurant. Will stay again. Most enjoyable. Recomended
